Richard Golz is a most dedicated Christian Chemistry Teacher in a High School in upper New York and comes down fifty miles alone or with all he can gather to New York City almost every Friday evening to attend our chapel service and sally forth in open air meetings with us on Broadway and on 42nd Street. In his messages he uses many marvelous illustrations from science and chemistry, giving breathtaking samples of the magnitude of God and the irrefutable laws of God in nature. He has considerably over a Master's Degree, and can well refute the man-made arguments of evolutionists, as well as convince souls they are but dust and that dust when wet gets stuck on itself, and that we all need Christ instead of self on the throne of our hearts.
I well remember one evening after a Broadway street meeting, talking with a University Professor and his wife from Copenhagen, Denmark, over a steak dinner they had invited us to, for four hours. This Professor had just finished a tour as visiting lecturer at universities across America, and was about to return to his homeland, but the night before leaving he and his wife's attention had been arrested by our late evening street meeting. It turned out that this same Professor had led the debate in his University on the negative side of "Is there a God?"
One-half billion people pass thru Times Square 24/7-365 days a year. What a mission field! That is why Jesus said greater works you will do. So let's cash in on his prophetic words.
